The Hound Power Story

In 2016, with the slogan of “Hound Power”, Hounds Helping Hounds, NY Vinny vied for the title of “Emerging Hero” for the American Humane Society.

Although he did not win, that experience reinforced just how many loving, special hounds/dogs of all kinds are in need of help in ways we can’t even imagine.

New York Vinny & Princess Toolip started Hound Power in 2018.  Hound Power continually raises money through the sales of our very own dog lovers collection of different products for dog lovers, dog moms, animal rescue volunteers, the Signature Greyhound Collection, and of course our very own NY Vinny’s Top Picks.  All of our designs are exclusively created just for their Hound Power Dog Apparel Shop.  We are also blessed with people opening their hearts with items for Auctions as well as  Donations.

A large percentage of all sales and 100% of monies raised through auctions and donations go into the Hound Power account that is then donated to the selected Animal Shelter or Dog Rescue Group of the month.

A Labor of Dog Love

Hound  Power is a labor of love and a work in progress.  Our goal is to help hounds of all shapes, sizes, ages, and breeds, by donating money to Rescue Groups and Shelters that give so much of their time and effort to make a difference.

Hound Power is already a success in many ways.  That success is very much in part to three wonderful friends; Lorraine Kline, Debra Valente, and Jenny Clark that share the same vision and have spent countless hours brainstorming, and editing, etc. Flora Ohara, a fourth friend and the owner of Savvy Web Services, added her amazing skills in website design and her patient tutelage to enable us to share  Hound Power with all of you.
